The program “Junior Ambassador Anti-Discrimination” started with a virtual kick-off on Saturday, 04 July 2020.
In the coming weeks, the candidates will develop ideas for the implementation of activities and measures to bring the motto “Discrimination has no place in our baseball and softball sport” to life.
The program will be conducted responsibly by the Chairman of the Board of the German Baseball and Softball Youth, Thomas Bieth, and with the active support of various speakers.
For the first round of the program 10 young athletes from all over Germany have applied.
As a first result of the program, a chat bot was implemented on the website, which allows victims of discrimination to quickly and easily access a list of contact persons and local aid organizations.
